Hello! Hope you're having a great day! We are on spring break this week and can I tell you how nice it was not to set my alarm? :)
Today I have a card I created for Waffle Flower Crafts using the Tribal Thank You Stamp Set. It was featured on the Paper Crafter's Library Blog last week- there is a giveaway going on so pop over and comment to win! Here is my card:
The Tribal Thank You Stamp Set has some great images in it! I combined a few for this card, layering them in a collagy sort of way. I kept the embellishments simple so that the images would be the star of this card. A few sequins to help the sentiment stand out and a bit of linen thread was all it really needed!
Don't forget to pop over and comment for your chance to win on the Paper Crafter's Library Blog!

Painting By The Numbers
Hi!
I had an emergency come up and couldn't post this yesterday- sorry!
I am so excited to be playing along with Paper Issues and Waffle Flower Crafts today! We mixed the February Swag Bag from Paper Issues with the Calendar Numbers Stamp Set from Waffle Flower Crafts:
I used the Calendar Numbers Stamp Set to create a patterned background on my white card front. I stamped the ones to make a plus :) I also used the zero outline to create a scallop pattern on the journaling card.
The fun bits and pieces are all from the Swag Bag- such fun things in it!! I layered them to create a fun focal point on my card.
I love it when two fun companies link up! Please hop over to the Paper Issues Blog for more information and for a linky party!

Showered With Love Card
I've had this adorable stamp set by Taylored Expressions for about a year- I'm glad I finally pulled it out to play!
Aren't the whales cute? :) I started the card by stamping the waves with different colored blue ink. I like that they aren't perfectly lined up. I stamped the sentiment next with black ink. The whales were stamped with two shades of the blue ink I used previously and then diecut out. I added foam adhesive and figured out where I wanted them to go. Before adding them to the card, I stamped the spout above where the bigger whale would go. I colored in the hearts with a red Copic marker and also added some sequins. The whales were adhered last. Here's a closer look:
I'm adding this to the latest Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge link up- it's all about animals! :)
Hope you are having a great day!!

Sunshine and Rain Card
Hello!
How's your day going so far? Mine is good- and it's Thursday! The weekend is sooo close! :) Today I'm sharing a card I made with Waffle Flower Craft's Rain Check Stamp Set. I was inspired by the latest Waffle Flower Challenge- the colors are so pretty and spring like!
I stamped the rays from the Rain Check Stamp Set onto the purple cardstock with Versamark ink. Then I splattered it with white mist and set it aside to dry. I diecut a bit of vellum with the largest circle from Flowers Circle Die Set. I stamped a few clouds with turquoise ink and diecut them out using the Partly Cloudy Die Set. I also cut a bit of rainbow striped patterned paper to go along with everything else.
Once the mist was dry, I adhered the purple paper onto the gray cardstock base. I added the strip of rainbow patterned paper and then stamped my sentiment just below it with black ink. I added my vellum circle next, tucking a bit of gray string underneath it with the adhesive. I layered the clouds next, using foam adhesive on the top on to make it pop. I finished it all off with a few epoxy dots to bring in a bit of green.
The colors are not ones I usually reach for but I do love how it turned out! Here is the Waffle Flower Challenge inspirational photo- there is still plenty of time to play along!!
Thanks for stopping by here today! I hope you are enjoying your Thursday as much as I am! :)

A Teacher's Gift Idea
I'm blogging on the SRM Stickers blog today! I thought I'd share a picture of my project here, too:
It's a chalkboard-like wipe off board I made out of a frame. :) I think Zoey's teacher will really like it!!

A Chalkboard Card Set for SRM
I am up on the SRM Blog today with a fun project inspired by the new Chalkboard Markers! I made a card set and a cute box to give them in:
Here are the cards- I created them using a simple chalkboard stamping technique:
I started by creating four different colored card bases. I embossed two with embossing folders. Next, I diecut some journaling cards out of the black polka-dot patterned paper. I pulled out a white ink pad and a sponge next and swiped the edges and parts of the fronts with the ink. I splattered each card with white mist and let them dry.
I used the adorable Little Miss Mia Stamp Set for this set of cards. Aren't they fun! I chose one image for each card and stamped them using white pigment ink. It really does look like a chalkboard!
The sentiments are from the We've Got Your Sticker- Hello Sticker Sheet. I chose the white ones because they look just like chalk on top of the black paper!
Once my images were stamped, I finished building the cards. I added a bit of patterned paper from Simple Stories I Am 6x6 pad to each one along with some fun Baker's Twine. These were so quick and fun to make!!
The box had to be just as cute as the cards, right? Here is a closer look:
I painted it using the Easy Chalkboard Marker in a swiping motion for a messy edged look. It worked really well, even on the shiny surface of the box. Once it was dry, I added a bit of washi tape and patterned paper. I wrapped it with a bit of Buttercream Baker's Twine and finished it with a bow. Lastly, I pulled out the fine tipped Bistro Chalk Markers I drew some little doodles and a note:) I love that you can write anything over the chalkboard surface!

A Little Sunshine Today
I am in need of a little sunshine today so I'm going to share this card I made with one of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets- Sunny Skies:
I started with a white card base and added the striped background paper next. I added a panel of white cloud printed acetate over the top of it. I diecut the tag from the Tag, You're It Die set and stamped the sentiment in the center. I also splattered it with some pale blue mist.
The sun was stamped and cut out of yellow cardstock. I layered the tag and sun onto my card front and added a few white sequins and a bit of twine to embellish it.
I'm entering this one in the latest Lawnscaping Challenge :) I love dots and stripes!!

You Totally Rock Card
Hi! How's your day going? We are still having cold weather but after the weekend away, it doesn't seem so bad! :) I had the best time at the Doodle Crew Retreat over the weekend! My class went well and I got sooo much done! It was amazing!
Today I'm sharing a card I made with some Paper Smooches goodies! I picked up a few new sets recently including the adorable Uplifters sentiment set. I thought it would be fun to mix it with one of my older sets- Teen Routine. Here's what I made:
I diecut the white paper with the Paper Die and stamped the sentiment near the bottom. I also stamped some musical notes in the center where I planned to put the ipod. I stamped the ipod on white paper and colored it with colored pencils. After it was colored, I cut around it and added it to the diecut with foam adhesive.
I'm so glad I had time to pull out these cute stamps! They were so fun to work with! :) I'm going to add it to the Paper Smooches Challenge this week as well- it's an anything goes challenge!
