Freckled Fawn + Waffle Flower Special Blog Hop

I have some fun cards to share with you today! Waffle Flower is teaming up with Freckled Fawn to bring you some awesome inspiration for Spring! I loved this collaboration so much!  Here are the cards I made:

For this card, I paired the Gemstone Stamp Set with some cute goodies from the April OHDEERME Kit.  I stamped the lines with 4-Sweet Lilac ink from the Spring Blend Ink Pad.  I love the all the little bits and pieces on this one!  I had fun layering them all :)

I featured an awesome square doily from Freckled Fawn and the Congrats Stamp Set and die on this next one:

Isn't that doily cool?  I cut the edge off and layered it onto the center of my card front.  I added a bit of patterned paper and clustered the rest over the top of it.  The felt sticker and epoxy hearts are from the April OHDEERME Kit as well.  The banner was stamped with 10-Wild Orchard ink from the Summer Blend Ink Pad.

One more card to share- this one mixes clouds, hearts, and stitching :)

I stamped the clouds from the Rain Check Stamp Set with white ink and then stamped the stitched heart from the Flutter Stamp Set with 12-Navy ink from the Summer Blend Ink Pad over the top.  I also stamped the sentiment in black.  I stitched over the top of all the stamping with my sewing machine and gray thread.  I added a little yellow splatter and then added my embellishments, an adorable epoxy cloud yellow epoxy dots from the Neon collection.

Don't you think Freckled Fawn and Waffle Flower are perfect together? :)  I do!  I really had fun with these!

Miss You Card for SRM Stickers

Hi!  It's my day to share on the SRM Blog and I thought I'd share here too!  My card uses the adorable Home Sweet Home Stamp Set:

I diecut a journaling card out of watercolor paper and stamped the apartment building and clouds on it using Staz On ink.  I watercolored the image using my ink pads and let it dry.  I also stamped the little heart onto watercolor paper and painted it in as well. When it was dry, I cut around it and added it to the main image with some foam tape:

I created a card base out of sand cardstock and added some green patterned paper to the bottom portion.  I added a white stitch sticker from the Sticker Stitches/Halloween Sticker Sheet along the top.  I wrapped it with a bit of twine, ending in a bow over to the left side.  I added the stamped panel next, using foam tape for dimension.  The sentiment sticker from the Sentiment/Thinking of You Sticker Sheet was placed onto vellum and punched out with a circle punch.  I added it to complete the look.

Sunday School Songs Card Set

The girls sing with the choir at our church and they have the most amazing teacher!  I picked up the Sunday School Songs stamp set by Neat and Tangled just so I could make her a special set of cards:

I mixed in a few other fun stamp sets and some sticker sentiments from SRM Stickers for this set.  The papers are from the I Am collection by Simple Stories.  I think they are all from the 6x6 pad :)

I also mixed in a bunch of sequins from different companies!  My favorites right now are the Neat and Tangled ones and the mixed bunches from Lawn Fawn.

I gave the cards to the girls' teacher a few weeks ago and she loved them.  It's so fun to give card sets as gifts to people who use them, isn't it? :)

These were a lot of fun to make- I love how they look all together as a set!  I need to make more like this!

A Wedding Card and Winner!

Hi there!

How is it Monday again already?  I meant to post this last week but the time got away with me!  It seems that April is our busiest month of the year and many of the most anticipated days were last week!  Funny how things end up happening all at the same time, isn't it?  This week is almost as busy but it's all fun!

Anyways, I am excited to announce the winner for the Circle Flower Die Set from Waffle Flower Crafts is Denise Bryant!  I hope you'll love the dies as much as I do! :)

Year 1 Blog Hop with Waffle Flower Crafts

Hi!  I'm excited to be hopping along with Waffle Flower Crafts today for their Year 1 Blog Hop!

I'm so happy to be celebrating Nina and her awesome company- they have grown so much this year!  If you are following along with the hop, I bet you came from Sabrina Alery's blog.  If not, pop over to check it out!  Her projects are amazing!

Nina had us all pick our favorite Waffle Flower Crafts product from the last year.  Oh how hard it was to just pick one!!  I love so many stamp sets and literally have a new favorite with every release!  One item that I constantly pull out to use over and over again is the Flower Circles Die Set:

It is a great basic die set with pretty stitching along the edges.  I love the mix of circles and flowers.  It is so versatile and can be used in so many ways!  I used it to make my card today:

I started with a white card base and splattered it with dark gray mist.  I added some black and white washi tapes next and then a panel of black and white patterned paper.  I wanted to create a bright pop with the largest scallop so I watercolored a panel of watercolor paper with pink and coral.  Once it was dry, I diecut it with the scallop and smallest flower.  

I diecut the largest circle out of white for my center.  I pulled out the new Doily Circle Stamp Set for the sentiment.  I stamped the Smile with a bright pink ink and the rest of the sentiment with black ink.  I layered the flower elements over the black and white patterns and popped up the layers as I went.  I added a matte black sequin to the center of the small flower and embellished it with the Tiny Twine Bow Die.  It was the perfect last detail:

You're a Gem for Waffle Flower Crafts

Hi!  It's already Wednesday!  How did that happen?  :)  We are in day three of Waffle Flower Craft's April Release Week and today's featured products are amazing!  I've used the Gemstone Stamp Set for today's card:

There are so many fun things you can do with the Gemstone Stamp Set!  I went fairly simple with mine and stamped out some gems using the new Waffle Flower Inks.   I've been loving patterned paper again lately and layered a few on my card base for a background.  I stamped the shine lines onto the front in gray and layered a label sticker over the top.  I stamped the sentiment on it and then added my gem stones and a few sequins.

New Goodies From Waffle Flower Crafts

Hi!  We've had a crazy last few days and I didn't get to post my cards for the latest Waffle Flower Crafts release yesterday!  I guess that means you'll get three today instead :)  Have you checked out the Waffle Flower Blog this week?  The new goodies are so fun!  I was so inspired by them all!

My first card features the new Doily Square Stamp Set.  I just love this sentiment, don't you?  It's so fun!!  I went with the square theme and cut a bunch of different patterned papers into squares and layered them on a white card front.  I added the sentiment last with foam adhesive after stitching around it.

For this card, I used the new Doily Circle Stamp Set.  It is such a complete stamp set and there are so many things you can do with it!  I went for a cleaner look with this one, using the border stamp and pretty sentiment.

My last card today features a few new goodies.  The Doily Circle Die is in the back, cut out of vellum.  The flowers and sentiment are from the new A Bunch Stamp Set.  The banner from the Congrats Stamp Set is also featured, and I used the Tiny Bow Die as an accent.  Such fun new things!!  The flowers were colored with the Zig markers found in the Waffle Flower store.

I Love You This Much Card

Hello!  Hope your day is starting out well!  Mine is good- our spring break was just the slow down I needed! :)

I have a fun card to share today.  It features a couple of cute stamps from Waffle Flower Crafts:

I mixed the Flutter Stamp Set, On My Mark Stamp Set,  On My Mark Dies, and Spring Blend Ink Pad for this one.  I stamped the kitty out first using the #2 Fresh Grass ink.  I diecut him and set him aside for later.  Next, I stamped the large heart with #5 Pretty Peony ink and then stamped the stitched heart in gray ink.  I added two little hearts using the #3 Pebble Ink, too.  I splattered it all with my favorite gray mist.  I found some brown striped paper to stamp my sentiment on.  I used Versamark and white embossing powder for it.

I created a light tan card base and embossed it using a scattered dots embossing folder.  I added the white panel to the center of the card and then layered the brown striped paper to the bottom portion.  I tied a bit of gray twine around it, too.  I added the kitty next, using foam adhesive to pop it up.  I finished with a sprinkling of sequins.

I love the colors in this one- the new inks are so pretty!  And the green cat makes me smile! :)
