About a month ago (yes, it took me sooo long!), my friend Andrea challenged me to make a card inspired by Where the Wild Things Are. We found all sorts of cute inspirations at this site. I love it! Here is my card- the idea came from their blog header:
Goodies:
Paper: cardstock by Stampin' Up! and Bazzill
Ink: Basic Black by Stampin' Up!
Accessories: Letter stickers by October Afternoon
Everything is hand cut on this card for a more silhouetted look. I traced half of a circle on the back of the black cardstock so my wild thing's head would have a good, round shape. Then I just cut fur in different directions. I was trying to think of a fun sentiment for this guy- a quote from the book or something- but ended up keeping it simple so I could use letter stickers I already owned...
Thanks for the challenge Andrea!
