Happy Monday!
Hope you had a great weekend! I had a fun one- spent time cropping with friends on Friday and on Saturday, I taught two classes at Scrapdoodles. I haven't taught in soooo long and I was a little nervous to jump back in. I enjoyed it so much and left inspired to add some more classes to my schedule! I forgot how fun it is! :) After my classes I cropped with another group of friends and then spent the day with my family on Sunday. It was great!! Seriously a fun weekend.
Anyways, enough about my weekend, right? I bet you want to see a project! Today I'm sharing a layout- this one features my favorite picture of Natalie from our summer break:
The picture was taken in my Dad's newest truck- an old Chevy pickup. Natalie got to go on a ride with him which was a pretty big deal to her! She loved it and so did her Papa! :) Since it was such a fun memory, I went for one oversized photo for this layout.
The Summer Stories collection by Teresa Collins Designs was perfect for this picture! The colors went with the photo so well and I love the designs. The sequins are still my favorite, hee!
Peeking at this layout is making me want to print some more photos from our summer vacation. We had such a great time in Washington state and there are so many good memories I don't want to forget!
Well, hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my page today!

Some Fall Cards...
Hello! Today is my turn on the Teresa Collins Designs team blog! I thought I'd share my cards here as well!
I have a trio of cards for you using the beautiful Family Stories line! Since fall is in the air, I thought I'd use the season as my theme. My first card features those great sequins:
I love the Family Stories sequins! The colors are so pretty but not fallish in any way. To create a fall look, I used a leaf diecut in the center of the pretty woodgrain patterned paper (Noted). Next, I created a pocket using vellum and filled it with the sequins as well as some smaller diecut leaves. I adhered it to the back of the patterned paper and wrapped some hemp cord around it. I adhered the focal panel to my card front using foam adhesive. To complete the look, I stamped the sentiment onto a pink cardstock cardstock strip. I added it to the cardfront along with some of the glittered aqua border. To finish off the look, I added an orange button (Decorative Brads) with a bow over the hemp cord.
The vellum diffuses the colors a little but you can still see those sequins sparkle!
For my next card, I started with a brown card base and my favorite stamp from the Family Stories stamp set:
I stamped a row of the large flower onto the card front using Versamark ink. Next, I splattered the card front with a little brown mist. I diecut a tag out of the woodgrain paper (Noted) and stamped my sentiment on it. Next, I diecut the leaves using rust colored cardstock and the aqua patterned paper (Notecards). I added them to my tag popping up the aqua leaf. I added a few of the pink epoxy dots and a bit of navy twine as well. After my tag was done and my mist was dry, I put it all together:
I added the ribbon first, attaching it with mini staples. Next I added a bit of aqua decorative tape (Memorabilia) and a pink striped banner from the Family Stories Diecut sheet. I added the tag last, using foam adhesive to pop it up.
I have one more card for you! It's a fun and simple banner card:
I love the look of banners at the top of a card! For this one, I started with a navy card base and added a panel of the woodgrain patterned paper (Noted). I stamped my sentiment along the bottom with black ink. Then I started on the banner! The banner flags and anchor tag are from the Family Stories Diecut Sheet. I punched them out and added them along the top of my card using foam adhesive dots. I diecut a leaf from brown cardstock and added it as well. Next, I added some embellishments- those fun orange epoxy dots and a pretty decorative brad with a bow tied behind it. I finished off the look by adding a length of linen thread over the top, threading it through my tags. I attached it with just a little bit of white glue on the outside corners.
I am loving the look Family Stories gives to a fall theme! The colors are non traditional but still so pretty for the season. I can't wait to use this combination again!

New Teresa Collins Family Stories Cards!
Happy Tuesday!
I'm so excited today because I can finally share my cards using the new Family Stories line by Teresa Collins! I shared them on the team blog today and thought I'd add them here, too! Her lines are always so pretty and I'm feeling so lucky to be part of this team!! When I got my box of goodies, the Family Stories line really stood out- it was so fresh and fun! I love the stamp set and the colors and the patterns and the journaling cards... I love it all! :) Here are my cards:
For this one I started with a soft sky blue card base. I added a panel of the wood grain patterned paper to the front, adding some faux stitching to the side edges. Next, I cut out two of the journaling cards. I adhered the blue floral one on a bit of a diagonal to my card front. I stamped the big flower onto the anchor card in pink ink and splattered a bit of darker ink on to it. I punched out the sentiment banner next and tore a piece of the aqua glitter scalloped border to go under it. I adhered them both over the flower, using dimensional foam adhesive for the banner. I tied some red baker's twine around it, finishing in a bow. I adhered this decorated journaling card to the front using dimensional foam adhesive. Here is a closer look:
Aren't those colors great! I am loving the orangy red with the aqua and pink!
This next one was inspired by the brand new layered cardstock stickers. They are great!
Aren't the new stickers fun!! I love the new sequins, too! There are different sizes in each pack.
My last card was inspired by the couple stamp and the you and me journaling card. They just go together! :)
I created a card base out of white cardstock and covered it with the pink floral grid paper. I added a panel of the gray chevron paper to the center. Next, I punched out the journaling card from the die-cut sheet. I stamped the couple using my favorite Delacata gold ink and splattered some gold mist on to it, too. After they were dry, I added the gray baker's twine, the sequins and the glitter border strip. I used dimensional foam adhesive to mat it onto some black cardstock so it really pops and then added it my card front.
I seriously loved working with this line! So many cute new things! I can't wait to create some more cards with it!
Thanks for joining me today!
