An Easter Treat Holder

Hi!  Have you been enjoying the release over at Waffle Flower Crafts?  Today is our last day of featuring the new goodies and tomorrow everything will be available at the Waffle Flower Crafts Store!  So fun!  Today we are featuring an awesome new die- the Petal Holder Die!

There are literally hundreds of ways you can use this die!  It has a square bottom and round top with scallops.  The scallops can be creased to create so many different looks- it is so much fun!

For my sample, I paired it with the new Chunky Grass Die and Egg Hunt Stamp Set to create a little Easter treat holder.  It is perfect for pretty candies!

If you would like to see what else you can do with this, pop over to the Waffle Flower Crafts blog today to check out the other design team samples.  You can also leave a comment there for a chance to win this awesome die!

Hope you all have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!

A St. Patty's Day Treat for SRM

Hi!  I'm busy getting ready for the Doodle Crew Retreat this weekend today!  I can't wait to see all my crafty friends and stay up late all weekend crafting!  It's so much fun!!

I thought I'd take a break from packing and pop on to share a treat I made for St. Patrick's Day- it's also being shared on the SRM Blog today:

These medium sized Clear Purse Boxes are so fun to fill up!  I wanted it to look like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow so I filled it with some gold covered chocolates and Skittles :)  After it was full of goodies, I started decorating the front.  I went with a fun little cluster of green and gold embellishment on the left side of the handle.

I placed a strip of green patterned paper cut into a banner shape first.  Next, I pulled a green label sticker from the Labels By The Dozen/Christmas Sticker Sheet to use as my next layer.  Once it was down, I added some green zig zag sticker stitches from the Sticker Stitches/Christmas Sticker Sheet over the banners.
I pulled out the Life is Good Stamp Set by Jane's Doodles next, stamping out the tag and heart.  I cut around it and punched a hole through the top.  I tied a bit of Pea Pod Baker's Twine around the top and finished in a bow.  I also added the Good Luck sentiment from the Sentiment/Thinking of You Sticker Sheet.  I added the tag to the purse along with some gold sequins to finish off the look:

Who wouldn't want a rainbow candy treat on St. Patrick's Day? :)

Thanks for stopping by today!!

One in a Million Valentine's Treat Bags

Hello!  I have been off the radar for a few days haven't I?  Not on purpose :)  January was pretty busy and it's looking like February will be too!  My crafty time has been cut down a little and I guess it shows...

I'm glad I have time to share this morning- I have a fun project up on the Waffle Flower Crafts Blog as part of their Silly Valentine's Week!  I was inspired by my daughters' love for glow-in-the-dark stars to create Valentine's Day treats featuring them for their friends:

I split a large package of stars up for 3 treat bags.  I packaged them up in some embossed vellum bags from SRM:

Then I created the tags, using the Surface- Tag Die- Starters Kit and Starry Night Stamp Set from Waffle Flower Crafts:

I created a video to show how I made the galaxy background:

I am trying to do more videos this year.  I learn something new every time I make one!  This time I learned that the craft mat makes an awful background.  Sorry!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!  Don't forget to pop over to the Waffle Flower Blog to see all the fun Valentine's projects the team made this week!

Santa Treat Bag

Hello!  I shared this post on the SRM blog today too so if you've stopped by there first, it might be a repeat :)

I think my favorite treat around the holidays is white chocolate covered Oreo cookies!  Yum!  They are so rich and sweet that I can only have a couple at a time so I like to share.  I popped a couple in some cute treat bags to share with my girl friends at our upcoming card making party:

Aren't these chevron embossed kraft bags by SRM perfect?  I love how the top is left unembossed- it looks great folded over and wrapped with baker's twine.  :)

I stamped this one with gold rings and then splattered it with gold mist.  When the ink was dry, I stuck down that cute Santa sticker from SRM's Quick Cards- Believe sheet inside the gold rings.  I added just a bit of the green zig zag from the Sticker Stitches- Christmas sheet next.  The heart flair from the Bossy Joscie Modern Christmas collection was the perfect embellishment to finish off my cluster.  I used Peapod baker's twine to wrap around the top and tie in a bow.

These were so fun to put together!  I hope my girlfriends like them as much as I do! :)

Hope you have a great day and thanks for popping by!
