Waffle Flower's October Challenge

Good morning!  We woke up to cold weather this morning- frost on the ground and everything!  I am not ready for winter...

Let's think fall instead! :)  Here is the card I made for Waffle Flower's October Challenge:

I loved the inspiration this month!  I embossed the stamped images from the Doily Square Stamp Set with gold embossing powder and cut around the outsides to make it stand out.  The sentiment and leaf is from the Holiday Labels- Give Thanks Stamp Set.  I added some embossing on the card base as well with a chevron embossing folder.

Pop over to the latest challenge post to see what this week's featured designers created!  The inspiration photos are on the blog as well!  I hope you'll play along with us!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sweet Friends Forever Card for STAMPtember!

Hi!  Can you believe how quickly September has gone by?  It feels like it has totally flown!  I guess it's because of all the STAMPtember fun!  Hee Hee!  :)  Today Simon Says Stamp is showcasing an exclusive with Waffle Flower Crafts- the How We Roll Stamp Set and Die!  It is so cute!

I couldn't help but stamp out every one of the 5 candy designs!  They are just so fun!  The sentiment is one of 5 as well!  I love how they look all stacked up like that!

Working for Waffle Flower is such a treat!  Stamps like this make me so happy and when they come as a surprise it's even better!  Thank you Nina and Simon Says Stamp for this one! :)  It is available for purchase today at Simon Says Stamp so pop over to check it out!

Thankful For You Card

Good morning!  I'm starting my day off with a pumpkin spice latte delivered by my sweet hubby from Starbucks!  You can't get better than that! :)  Well, maybe if I had the day off to craft... hee hee!

I have a card to share today!  It features stamps from Waffle Flower Crafts:

As soon as I saw the cute jar stamp from the new Good Stuff Stamp Set I knew I had to pair it with the daisies from the A Bunch Stamp Set!  I decided to go with a cleaner look for this card and started with some bold patterned paper from Echo Park.  I stamped everything out and then die cut it all using the matching dies!  I am so happy for matching dies! :) The sentiment is from the Holiday Labels Give Thanks Stamp Set- isn't it nice?

This one was super quick- no coloring or cutting thanks to these fun stamps and dies!!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Ketchup and Mustard Card

Hi!  Happy Wednesday!  Today is just beautiful!  I've been busy at the school creating a fun bulletin board this morning and it was so nice to walk out into the sunshine when I was done!  I wish I could spend a little more time outside today but I am heading to a class this afternoon. :) Before I hit the road, I thought I'd pop on and share a card I made using the cute Let's BBQ set by Lawn Fawn:

This one was just fun to make!  I colored the ketchup and mustard with my Chameleon markers- quick and easy! :)  The papers are a mix of leftovers I had piled up on my desk- aren't they fun together?  The tag die, twine, and cardstock are from Stampin' Up!

It's fun to share this one, too!  The bright colors are so cheerful!

Berry Best Friend Card

I have a cute card to share with you today!  It features adorable Claire the monkey from Waffle Flower Crafts...

I was in the mood for some watercoloring when I made this one!  It' such a carefree way to color images and mistakes never look as bad as in watercolor- it's like it was meant to be lol!

I used Kuretake watercolors.  The papers are from Lawn Fawn.  And the stamps and dies are by Waffle Flower.  Here is a closer look:

And since it's Watch It Wednesday on the Waffle Flower Blog, here is a video of the process too!

I really enjoyed making this one!  Thanks for stopping by today!
