Thx. and Something New!!

Well, today I logged on to my computer and was excited to see that Kristine Werner added a new color challenge to her blog! Her blog is a great place for inspiration- check out her videos!

Her challenge was to use this as inspiration to make a card:

Here is what I came up with!

My Goodies:
Paper: River Rock, Basic Black, Going Gray, and Ruby Red card stock by Stampin' Up
Stamps: Sprinkles set by Stampin' Up
Ink: Going Gray by Stampin' Up
Others: ribbon and eyelets by American Crafts; letter stickers by Doodlebug; dementionals by Stampin' Up!; corner rounder by Creative Memories

I love these letter stickers by Doodlebug! I only bought them in white and now I am kicking myself because I want more!! They are great on cards and on scrapbook pages!

Speaking of... I thought I'd share a page from this weekend:

I just liked this picture of my sister, Trish. It needed to be scrapped!

Now, my something new!!! When I went down to Scrapdoodles in Fredericksburg on Saturday, they asked me to teach a class! I will be joining thier team as a cards instructor! I am super excited about it and will be heading down in the morning to pick out goodies for my first class!! The class is scheduled for 1pm on Saturday, August 23rd. I am hoping to have samples in the store with in the next 2 weeks! Here is thier number, incase you want to sign up early! (hee hee!) 1-540-548-3788

Anyways, I'm having a great week! I hope you are too!!

Wow! Awesome card, Tessa! Love the layout but I got a sneak peek at the crop.

I'm happy for Scrapdoodles (you too)! They've added a stellar instructor to their roster. You're a wonderful teacher and very creative. You can create anything (not just cards though your cards are absolutely incredible) and do an outstanding job.

I was checking out your color challenge #14 card and read your profile. Recollections was my favorite store to visit when I was in town visiting family. So sad it's closed. I loved your card for the challenge. The corner rounding on the two edges of the card was really clever.
